Keynote presentation by:
Tim Guiterman, LEED AP – Commercial Buildings Manager, New Buildings – Governor’s Energy Office (GEO).
Mr. Guiterman will speak about state and federal policies concerning high performance design and energy efficiency in commercial buildings, and the programs at the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) that support these initiatives. He will also provide an overview of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding that is coming to Colorado for energy efficiency and renewable energy development. Mr. Guiterman hopes to illuminate the tremendous opportunities for the members of the Rocky Mountain ASHRAE chapter to lead the nation to a New Energy Economy and create jobs within the HVAC&R and sustainable engineering fields.
