BACnet Passes Test
The Douglas County School District continues to be one of the fastest growing school districts in Colorado and one of the top 10 fastest growing in the country. The school district has Web-based BACnet building automation systems in 56 buildings. The network has 25,000 hardwired inputs and outputs, and more than 102,000 BACnet objects.
Aaron Nahale, president of Setpoint Systems Corporation, will present on the article he co-authored for the November 2007 ASHRAE Journal which highlights Douglas County School’s system. The presentation, titled BACnet Passes Test will cover:
- The Process of Selecting the BACnet Protocol for the Douglas County School District
- Identifying BACnet Vendors
- Evaluating BACnet systems
- Creating a live demonstration of interoperability
- The functional test
- The Results
- Lessons-Learned
